As an anniversary present for my partner, I wrote, illustrated and laid out a poetry book titled "Sixteen Hours", which explores the beauty that there is within a long distance relationship. The illustration style seeks to be simple but heartfelt, especially with the choice of textured brushes. On the other hand, I played around with the way in which the text was displayed to more accurately convey the message of each poem and bring extra vitality to the book.
